A message from Todd and Fred Litwiniuk, founders of Litco LSO
We know that life as a lawyer can be incredibly stressful and high-pressure, and we're always looking for ways to improve our lawyers’ quality of life at work. For nearly 50 years now, we've been serving clients in a variety of practice areas, including personal injury, employment law, long-term disability, and class actions. We started as a family business, but as one generation handed the reins off to the next, we recognized that business as usual simply wasn't sustainable - at least, not if we wanted to grow the way we always imagined we could.

The hours were too long, and all the work that it took to manage the firm meant that we had less time to help clients. That's when we made an active decision to rethink what it takes to grow our business without burning ourselves out.

We created a culture of freedom and responsibility that helped us attract and retain the very best team members anywhere. We shifted from a top-down style of case management to a team approach that decreased reliance on individual lawyers while increasing client loyalty to the firm. We developed specialized non-lawyer roles to drive efficiencies and maximize the client experience. We introduced automations that eliminated a whole host of mundane, mechanical tasks and streamlined many others. And we invested substantially in developing a leading-edge technology platform that dramatically compressed our execution time while delivering clients a superior experience.
The results speak for themselves.
In just a few years, we grew our firm nearly 10X. We went from a team of 22 people, 50% of whom were lawyers, to 160 people with just 15% lawyers. And we were only getting started.

Our next step was to develop a strategy that would enable us to take this same platform and make it rapidly, readily scalable, so firms across North America could take advantage of the same efficiencies to grow their own businesses. That's when we made the most consequential advance of all: The development of a business model that would allow broad participation in our program, enabling not only lawyers but also team members, investors, and funding sources to become equity holders.

The end result is the Litco Legal Support Organization, a network of firms that is poised for accelerated growth in major markets across the continent, delivering clients top-notch legal representation while rewarding our stakeholders with the work-life balance they've always wanted and the value they've always deserved.

Practice areas include catastrophic injury and fatality claims, occupiers’ liability, and motor vehicle accidents, among others.

With brother Todd, developed the vision and executed the strategy to grow Litco Law into a firm that sets the standard for contemporary legal operations.
In addition to legal expertise, Fred holds an MBA, which he leverages to bring the firm a distinctly entrepreneurial outlook.
